Acadian Mining Corporation is focused on exploring and developing its large portfolio of gold properties in Nova Scotia, Canada totaling ~ 30,000 hectares. Five of these properties are advanced properties with National Instrument 43-101 compliant gold resources, two of which, namely Fifteen Mile Stream and Beaver Dam are being explored/developed as potential bulk tonnage-open pit gold deposits. Several other early stage projects in the Company's portfolio have potential to host bulk tonnage projects.
Acadian believes there is excellent potential to expand its current resource base through well-planned results driven exploration programs. The Company has completed its 2011 Fifteen Mile Stream drill program and results can be found here. The Beaver Dam project has also been prioritized for significant exploration activities in the coming months.
